Food is at the heart of our lives and this is part of the pleasure of cittaslow! How can we not support and enjoy our local producers of fresh, local and organic produce? We certainly can not forget the wonderous variety and flavours made available by our numerous chocolate and confectionary manufacturers here.
And how exicting it is to have such a range of delicious wines and cordials so handy, not to mention the amazing vegetarian and internationally-inspired savouries to accompany them. From the garden to the plate, for any time of the day ... we are abundant.

Producers
There is more to our region than food and art and in fact we wish to become known as a centre for excellence in the art of service, in whatever industry may be represented here. The term Producers covers a wide range of artisans, craftspeople, manufacturers and processors of a myriad of products that are environtnatlly aware and low impact.
For this and other reasons, we are slowly becoming a sustainable business area: the first region to have its own sustainability-specific business program, The Blue Mountains Business Advantage program; a range of eco tourism operations, a growing number of manufacturers and providers of product and services focussed on the environment, energy/water efficiency and much more. Not to mention a resident community of inventors and innovators.
Service
There are now listed in this section businesses that are solely service oriented, technology and IT developers and other providers, along with other low impact commercial activities, and we see these burgeoning in the coming years.
Endorsement
