Blue Mountains - Inaugural City of the Arts...
That is how we were perceived some years ago and things haven't changed that much. There is a wealth of talent residing in and visiting these beautiful hills and the sounds of music often ring across the streets and valleys. Choirs, groups and solists abound, with instruments of all shapes description thrilling audiences, harmonising with nature in all Her rhythms and tones.
Music is not the only expression of art and creativity as there are many artists in all media producing works for the world, as much as for the local markets and galleries. We have multimedia geniuses, painters 'extraordinaire', writers and poets lyrical and profound along with sculptors, dancers, jugglers and printers, all on our doorstep and bringing pleasure and richness to our lives.
